Summer is just around the corner! Whether you’re hosting an event in your backyard or at one of McClellan Hospitality’s event spaces, our event specialists offered their top three tips to make the planning process a breeze!
Tip #1. Know your venue.
When choosing a location, consider the amenities and limitations. Air conditioning, lighting, power, seating capacity and parking are important resources that should be discussed as you make decisions about hosting an event.
Tip #2. Confirm details.
Follow up with vendors to confirm event details the week before the event. Create a contact list with anyone that will play a part in your event including caterers, rental companies, musicians or entertainers, florists, and venue, and keep it on hand the day of the event.
Tip #3. Create shade.
Consider planning outdoor events in a party tent or canopies. Guests will be more comfortable in a shaded area, and tents can create a beautiful event space for weddings, showers, barbecues and more.
